1. Copy the picture you want and make a new file in Photoshop pasting in the picture.
I'm using a penguin.
2. Make sure your layers palette is open (Window- Show Layers) then go up to Layer- Duplicate Layer- click ok.
3. Click on Image- Adjust- Desaturate.
4. Take the eraser tool and erase the parts you want to be colored and the first layer will show through! Ta da!
