STEP 1
Open Adobe Photoshop. Copy and paste this pattern into a new file, and go to Edit- Define Pattern. X out of the pattern.
STEP 2
Open a new file any size. This is the one that will have the border. Make a new layer (shift + control + n) Press control + a to select all. Go to Select- Modify- Border and change it to 1 pixel and press ok.
STEP 3
Click on the paint bucket and change it from foreground to pattern.
Then click on the button with a pattern and an arrow, then find and click on the checker pattern.
Click anywhere on the canvas to fill in the selected area.
STEP 4
Click on the Magic Wand. Right click on the canvas and click on Select Inverse. Press delete three times.
