Overlay Gradient
BEFORE | AFTER
1. Copy the picture you want and make a new file in Photoshop, pasting in the picture.
I'm using these flowers from the stock photo page.
2. Make sure your layers palette is open (Window- Show Layers) then click on the paper with a folded corner to make a new layer.
3. Change the blending mode to overlay and the opacity to around 70%. Fill this layer with a gradient of any kind. Mine's a two color gradient I made using pink and green.
And there you have it!
