Sharpen and Brighten Effect
STEP 1
Open the picture you want to add the effect to. Make sure your layers palette is open (Window- Show Layers)
STEP 2
Go to Layer- Duplicate Layer. Click on the second layer with your image (the one you just made) and change the blending mode to overlay.
STEP 3
Click on the first layer with your picture and go to Filter- Sharpen- Sharpen. If it doesn't show up that much, do it again.
