Shiny Bar

1.  Open Adobe Photoshop, with a length and width of what you want your bar to be (it should be long and very skinny).  Make a new layer and fill it in with a solid color.

2.  Double click on the layer to bring up the layer style.  Click on Gradient Overlay and match my settings.

You can also click on pattern overlay and have a Soft Light 50% opacity pattern on your bar, but it's optional.  I have one.

3.  Make a new layer, and make your color white and click on a medium sized, soft paint brush (I used 17px).  Holding down shift to make the line straight, draw a line a few pixels down from the top edge of the bar.  Change the blending style to Soft Light.

4.  Make a new layer and repeat the white line process but with a slightly smaller brush and a blending style of Soft Light at 65% opacity.

5.  Make a new layer.  Change your brush to 3px and draw a straight white line at the top edge of your fat white line at the top.  Change the blending mode to Soft Light at 50% opacity.

Wallah- a pretty bar for links, decoration, and more!
